Early Reader Book Club (Grades K-1)

Early Reader Book Club is designed to help foster a love of reading in children in grades K-1. The club meets monthly during the school year and is built around a picture book, which children will be able to take home. We'll start by reading and discussing the book together. (Children need not be able to read).  Then we'll follow up with fun, STEAM-themed activity.

Registration is required.  To accommodate more children, we offer three sections of the Early Reader Book Club.  Participants attend only one session per month, as it's the same book and activity in all three sessions.  Choose one of the following sessions, space permitting:

• Every first Thursday of the month, 4-5 PM (except in January, when it will fall on the second Thursday),
• Every second Monday of the month, 4-5 PM, OR
• Every third Monday of the month, 4-5 PM 

When you register for a session, you will automatically remain registered for the same day of the month through May.  Registration opens 4 weeks before event.  If you have any questions, please email srickard@newtonplks.org.
