Food Trucks

Food trucks are a popular vendor to invite to be a part of your event, partner with local businesses, or set-up in the Newton Food Truck Park. Make sure that your food truck is properly licensed before confirming them for an event.

Apply for a Food Truck License

Mobile food vendors operating in Newton city limits must have a license from the Kansas Department of Agriculture and the City of Newton. Before a City license is issued, the truck or mobile unit must be inspected for fire safety and other provisions of City Code. Food trucks may submit valid proof of inspection from another participating central Kansas fire department and this will take the place of a city of Newton inspection. Food trucks must work with local businesses or property owners if they wish to set-up on private property. The Newton Food Truck Park is privately owned property.
