Food Trucks

Food trucks are a popular vendor to invite to be a part of your event, partner with local businesses, or set-up in the Newton Food Truck Park. Make sure that your food truck is properly licensed before confirming them for an event.

Apply for a Food Truck License

Mobile food vendors operating in Newton city limits must have:

  • a license from the Kansas Department of Agriculture
  • a fire safety inspection by Newton or reciprocal community (Wichita, Sedgwick County, Mulvane)
  • a license from the City of Newton

Food trucks will be issued a sticker to be placed on their window each year showing they have completed all necessary requirements. To learn more and complete your application, visit the city of Newton's website. 

Food trucks must work with local businesses or property owners if they wish to set-up on private property. The Newton Food Truck Park is privately owned property.
