Choose Newton Main Street is excited to bring back the popular Wine Walk. This year, we are also adding a Savory Stroll. You can choose to do one or both! Last year tickets sold out, and they are selling fast this year, so make sure to grab yours before they are gone.
This is a great opportunity to get your friends together for a wonderful evening in Downtown Newton!
Even if you don't get tickets, there will still be a lot to do on Third Thursday. The second Makers Market of the season will be open on East 6th Street, businesses will be open late for you to shop, and lots of great dining options are available to grab supper.

If you are looking for summer activities, make sure to check out the Passport to Newton! Choose Newton has put together a list of all the great summer activities and events happening in Newton. The Passport features concerts, festivals, camps, vacation Bible schools, fine arts events, sporting events, pool information, and more! Instead of searching for all the great things happening, you have one spot to find it all.
Sand Creek Summer Daze is going to run from June 18-20 and is full of lots of great activities! There are many returning favorites and a few new great additions. Search for your chance to find the Medallion and win! Enjoy a Concert in Military Park on Friday and family activities in Athletic Park on Saturday. Make sure to gather your team for the Cardboard Regatta and see how long you can stay afloat. You also won't want to miss the Kickball Games as NMC Health battles USD 373 and Police go head-to-head with Fire/EMS. Who will take home the trophy this year?
Cookie Daze 5K is back for its 16th year on Saturday, June 20. Sign up to run this great local race that supports Caring Hands Human Society and Heart to Heart Child Advocacy Center. The race starts and ends at Athletic Park and features paved sidewalks along the whole path.
Newton is home to the Newton Rebels, a collegiate summer baseball league. All of their home games are played at Klein-Scott Field in Centennial Park. Games are $5 to attend. Moxie Mobile will be at the field serving ballpark favorites at every home game. Come out and cheer on the Rebels as they take on teams from the Sunflower Collegiate League.

This newly launched digital platform offers a space for business owners to explore curated resources, dive into immersive learning journeys, and connect with likeminded peers across the country—all completely free, on-demand, and self-led, so even the busiest entrepreneur can learn and connect at their own pace, on their own time.
Locally, the Kansas Small Business Development Center at WSU has some great options to help support our local businesses. Their June calendar of classes is chalked full of great resources and learning opportunities. Many of which are free or low cost to attend. They also offer Small Business advising and other resources to help our local small business succeed!
