If you are looking for some fun ways to build community this Halloween season with your neighbors, friends, and community members than put together a Boo Basket!

Boo Baskets are a fun Halloween tradition where you secretly place a gift on your neighbor’s porch for them to find along with a note telling them that they have been booed and instructions for how to pass it on.

How to Boo:

You can either start the fun or continue to pass it on. We have put together a boo flyer for you to use. Download & print your Boo Flyer here.(PDF, 218KB)

If you have received a Boo Basket:

• Enjoy the fun and goodies
• Place the “We’ve Been Booed” sign on your front door or window sharing with others that you have already received a basket
• Put together a Boo basket for one or multiple neighbors and make sure to include the Boo Basket Flyer(PDF, 218KB)
  • You can customize the basket for those who will be receiving it and include things you think they might enjoy or keep it general
• Deliver your Boo Basket with the sign and instructions and watch the Halloween fun spread
• Don't forget to share photos of the fun using #ChooseNewton or by tagging Choose Newton in the post
