Youth & Adults Sports Leagues
Sports enthusiasts have no trouble finding activities in Newton. A variety of youth and adult leagues are offered year-round, including football, softball and baseball, swimming, soccer, basketball, bowling, golf, and more.
For more than 75 years, the city has also hosted the Mexican American Fast Pitch Softball Tournament, which draws teams from across the country over the July 4th weekend.
Newton is also home to the Sluggin' Rebels, an amateur collegiate baseball team, which plays multiple games weekly during summer months.
