City Parks

With 17 parks scattered throughout the city, Newton residents are never far from a place to relax and play. Amenities include picnic tables and shelters, playgrounds, sports fields, barbecue grills and restrooms. An off-leash dog park is also popular. The municipal pool will reopen in 2021 with extensive renovations and upgrades.

Athletic Park is Newton's largest, located in the heart of the city. It serves as a community gathering place for events and is home to Fischer Field, which home to a variety of Newton High School and other sports teams. Explore our parks.
