Join us for Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2026: Community, Commemoration, and Celebration as Bethel College Office of Culture & Belonging, Hesston College, the Newton Public Library, and the Newton Community for Racial Justice come together for a weekend of music, reflection, learning, and dialogue honoring Dr. King’s legacy. All events are free and open to the public. Visit bethelks.edu/mlk for the full schedule and updates.
This celebration is supported in part by the Reimer/Boese Worship and Arts Endowment, which honors the lives of Katharina Voth Reimer and Thomas U. Reimer, and Maria Schroeder Boese and Abraham L. Boese. Established by Dr. Rosella Reimer Duerksen, the endowment supports lectures, musical events, workshops, and conferences that use the arts as a means of communicating faith.
