Making a Museum

Newton Public Library logo
Topeka's Kansas Museum of History closed its doors on September 4, 2022, for a three-year renovation of its permanent exhibit gallery. Join director Sarah Bell as she recounts how the museum staff took on this monumental task of renovating the almost 40-year-old museum, updating the exhibits from its chronological format to a thematic one. You’ll hear about the changes—and the challenges—and what visitors can expect when they visit the new museum.
This is a hybrid program: Attend in person at Newton Public Library, or click here to sign up for the Zoom Webinar: https://us06web.zoom.us/.../reg.../WN_K70bKVAAQLi0g6c22OkZrg. Sarah Bell will be joining us remotely via Zoom.
