Dutch Blitz Bash
Join us at Newton Public Library to try your hand at Dutch Blitz, a "Vonderful Goot," family-friendly card game that is especially popular in Mennonite communities.
Doors open at 3 p.m. – join us then if you'd like to play a few practice rounds, or learn the rules.
Around 3:30 p.m., we will regroup and start an hour of competitive (but still friendly) play! At 4:30, prizes will be awarded to the player with the most cumulative points; to the player with the highest single-round score; and to participants chosen at random.
After that, the formal event will be over, but participants will be welcome to stick around for more cards and socializing until the library closes at 6.
