All Downtown business owners, employees, and property owners are invited to join us on Tuesday, January 27 at 8am for our first Connect Downtown of 2026. Please join us at SJ Nuzum Photography, 104 1/2 W Broadway St. We will begin by talking about upcoming events and happenings in Downtown. If there are any grant opportunities or information you should be aware of, it will be shared at this meeting.
We will then hear from Sara Nuzum, owner of SJ Nuzum Photography. She will be presenting on how to take better photos on your phone. This will be a great opportunity for you to learn about lighting and composition in photos and how you can use things you already own to take the best photos. Photos are one of the first ways someone will see your business. They are looking at your website and social media. Choose Newton also uses photos to highlight your business as well. If you have good photos it can help to draw in customers by showcasing the amazing things you offer.
Afterwards there will be time to mingle with other downtown businesses. This is a great opportunity to connect with other businesses and people working to partner for progress in Newton's Downtown.
