Golf Course Receives Honors

Our very own Sand Creek Golf Course was recognized by Golfer's Voice in 3 categories:

  • #1 for Course Conditions
  • #1 for Loyalty/Net Promoter
  • #3 for Staff & Customer Service

This is a huge honor as these awards come directly from the voices of the golfers who play the course. We know the gem this course is in our community and it's great to see that others are recognizing it as well.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at Sand Creek Station for all of the hard work you put into making Newton's course a wonderful destination and experience. If you are looking for a place to hold your next golf tournament or just play a round with friends, make sure to choose Sand Creek Station!

WABA Home Show Recap

Last weekend, Business Development Director Zach McHatton represented the City of Newton at the WABA Home Show, sharing what makes our community feel like home. The Choose Newton booth welcomed conversations with residents and visitors from across the region, ranging from housing opportunities to hometown stories and everyday experiences in Newton.

While interest in living or building in Newton is always encouraging, the true value of the event was in the connections made. Whether a conversation inspired someone to explore downtown, support local businesses, or envision a future here, each interaction was a success. The Home Show served as a reminder that Newton’s greatest strength continues to be its people and the sense of community they help create.
