Instructor Bio:

My name is Sydney Logan, and I have been an avid Kpop (Korean pop music) fan since 2011. So much so that my passions took me to South Korea in 2018, where I studied at Korea University for 5 months. I graduated in 2019 with my degree in East Asian Studies with a Korean focus from the University of Kansas and have continued to follow that passion into adulthood via the establishment of Wichita's first Kpop Zumba class at the Northwest YMCA. Through this class, I can share my love for Korean music and culture, whose popularity is booming on a worldwide scale, with the people around me while engaging in one of my favorite activities, dancing. I am so thrilled to bring this knowledge and experience to the Newton Library this summer.
